-In the ion measurement function, automatic molar mass and valence substitution when the appropriate ion is selected.
-Automatic unit conversion – e.g. from mol / l to mg / l.
-Memory for up to 950 results.
– RS-232 outputs (or via USB converter as an option), Centronics for external printer

CPI-502 measures pH, mV (redox potential), ion concentration and temperature. Observation of the selected function and temperature after selecting the appropriate key. It has a thermal printer with a width of 60 mm.

Characteristics

-All measuring functions are characterized by high accuracy.
-Parameter programming is extremely easy.
– Standardization of pH and ion measurements facilitates handling.

In the pH measurement function

– pH electrode calibration in 1 to 5 points.
-Automatic detection of user input buffer values.
– When using pH standards (compatible with GUM or NIST), automatic change of the remembered pH value of the standard along with the temperature change, which eliminates the need to warm up or cool the solutions.
– The memory of the calibration results of the 3 electrodes enables their quick replacement.
-Ability to read the characteristics of the electrode.
-Depending on the electrode used, it is possible to measure redistilled waters, pure waters, solutions of chemical compounds, sewage, pastes, cheeses, etc.
-Automatic evaluation of the electrode condition.
-Ion and pH measurements using the same socket. Separate socket for connecting a reference electrode.

In the ion measurement function

-The device enables the measurement of monovalent and bivalent positive and negative ions.
-The range of the device enables cooperation with all ion-selective electrodes selected depending on the measured ion.
-The device has a BNC-50 socket (for a pH electrode, or an ion-selective or redox electrode) and a? Banana? for the reference electrode.
-Automatic substitution of molar mass and valence when appropriate ion is selected.
-User can select units pX, g / l, M / l, ppm.
-Automatic unit conversion – e.g. from mol / l to mg / l.
-Enter any pattern values.

As a function of voltage measurement

-Precise redox potential determination (accuracy 0.1 mV).
-Ability to measure the voltage relative to the entered or measured reference voltage? Vref.

other features

– Memorization of 950 measurement results with time and date.
-Collecting series of measurements with a given time interval.
-RS-232 and Centronics outputs.
– Real time clock with calendar.
– The device comes with a CD with a movie that helps you learn the basics of operation.

Compared to the CPI-505, the device has a smaller, non-illuminated display. There are no separate slots for the pH and ISE electrodes. There is no function of freezing the result on the screen and information about stabilizing the result. It does not generate a calibration report. It is not possible to read the electrode characteristics.

The device is sold with a CT2B-121 temperature sensor with a Pt-1000B resistor and a standard EPS-1 pH electrode for clean waters.
For liquids with sediments, sewage, pastes and soil, the IJ44A permanent electrode of the Australian company Ionode with an unusual design with an “intermediate connector” is recommended. protecting the proper electrode connector from clogging. Provides stable measurement in liquids where other electrodes quickly lose their performance. The condition of many years of work is its correct systematic service.
Purchase of ion-selective electrodes as needed.
